Jackalope Junction is a small western town where if’n Zane Gray and Jules Verne had any influence, this would be it. Located in the valley of the Mighty Oak, known to us here as “Oak Grove” but to the residents and those traveling through, “Mighty Oak Valley” is the common reference (and at one time, home to Mighty Oak Springs, a once sprawling and wealthy mining town in the mid-1800’s). Jackalope Junction ain’t like any other town you’ve ever encountered or visited (not yet at least!), populated by robots, people, half-machine/half-biological gunslingers known as “Clankers”, and human-like animals, with the most notable being the town Sheriff, Jim Cleghorn, aka “Jackalope Jim”, ‘cuz he’s a six-foot tall Jackalope (half jackrabbit, half antelope); and his Deputies and allies known far and wide as the “Junctioneers”.
